Vegan Rib Sub (Using Middleton's Seitan Ribs)

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Middleton's Seitan Ribs (Available on our website)

  • 3 Vegan sub bun

  • 1 Red Pepper, sliced

  • 1 Yellow Pepper, sliced

  • 1 Spanish Onion, sliced

  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced

  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

  • Vegan Mozzarella

  • Vegan BBQ sauce

 

Directions

  1. Sauté peppers and onion in pan with garlic until onions are translucent and garlic turns golden brown.

  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. Pan fry ribs on both side until golden brown. Cut lengthwise and sear inside cut.

4. Slice sub bun in half and add ribs, BBQ sauce and onion & peppers mixture. Top with vegan mozzarella and place under broiler until cheese is melted.

5. Serve warm!
